Obviously this is a question everyone wants to know when contemplating building a pool. The answer depends on the level of complexity that is involved with the pool you are building, as well as type of soil, and certain options can add construction time. Lets say you are building a fairly simple project on a flat site with normal soil conditions around Austin. This type of project should take between 4-6 weeks for completion, but lets take the same pool with 8′ change of grade over the project area. Now this job could take an additional 1-2 weeks to complete. There is no set time because there are no two exact projects, but what I can tell you is most jobs take about 5 weeks, unless there are extraordinary circumstances involved. I also never tell anyone how long it will take until after excavation is complete, because this is the unknown. Most excavations take about a week, but if you hit hard rock like flint or churt, this can add sometimes weeks to that process, and there is no way of knowing what you are going to hit until after you start digging.
