For those who are wanting their pools to be finished just in time for the start of swim season, now is the time to start the process. The design phase, and deciding on a contractor will take about a month, and then you have about another 2 weeks to a month for HOA approval, and permitting. While that is taking place you should be handling the financing if you are looking to do that. The construction process will take between 5 and 8 weeks depending on the level of project you are looking to build. After the pool is complete you will generally have about an additional 2 weeks for landscaping, fencing, and irrigation repair. So if you are looking to be completed by middle of April, now is the time to get started.
