Most pool builders like to think they build spectacular swimming pools, and even if that’s true, it takes more than that to create a truly happy customer.  From the first meeting to the completion of a project, it is our responsibility to inform our customers of every detail of their project, and educate them on the various decisions they will need to make throughout the construction process.  Most customers have little knowledge about our product, and as the swimming pool professional we can make them feel less vulnerable by helping them understand exactly what they can expect during this process.  We explain all the pros and cons on the different materials and equipment the customer is interested in, or has specified for their swimming pool project.  We do this in order to not only meet, but exceed our customer’s expectations throughout the process.   Another way we ensure happy customers is to always do what we say we are going to do, finish the project in a reasonable time frame, and be willing to go the extra mile.  Most pool contractors lose their customer approval rating near the end of a project or even after it is complete, and it may have nothing to do with the quality of the work, but rather the lack of communication and follow through.  These are simple things to handle, but often slip through the cracks at the end of a project, and can make the difference between an unhappy customer and a happy one.

Hope this helps, and thanks for reading,
